Tickets go fast for Upstate’s annual Father Daughter Valentine Ball. Reserve your spot by calling the Foundation for Upstate at 464-4416. The event takes place 6:30 to 9 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 12 at the Empire Room of the New York State Fairgrounds.
Girls ages 3 and up should dress in their finest party attire, and their father or special man in her life should wear business formal or tuxedo. The evening will include dancing, entertainment, magicians, gift bags, cookies and soft drinks, along with a silent auction.
Proceeds from the Valentine Ball benefit pediatric cancer services at the Upstate Golisano Children’s Hospital. Tickets for a father and one daughter are $50, or $60 after Jan. 31. Each additional daughter is $15, or $25 after Jan. 31. Wrist corsages are available for $10. A limited number of patron tickets are available for $200 and include a special theme and activities along with corsage and light hors d’oeuvres.
